Dreams

Dreams

A Poem by Yarunika
"

Rabble

"
They say our dreams keep us alive
With this, I half agree
Because they are a constant reminder
Of things I will never be

A thousand tears could not show
The pain I feel in my mind
Will I ever be able to achieve
If it feels like I'm dead inside?

So many words I could not write
A dozen notes I'll never sing
I've lost my path in this confusing life
I worry what my future will bring

A pair of dance shoes never to be worn
A violin I'll never play
Oh, the endless nights I spend
Pretending I'll get there,

Someday.
