I clicked on your posting becuz the idea of "sewing" is practically unknown to younger people these days. (I used to sew all my clothes as a young person). Your poem surprised me since it wasn't about "sewing" as one might expect. But your message is a well-crafted metaphor, showing instead of telling the how it can be when a person wants to stay connected to a beloved other person. Good rhyming & excellent details to show this longing feeling thru clothing & threads & colors -- all vivid imagery with high imagination! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

This poem-story pulled me in from the first line, the imagery really adds to the overall message of the poem. I also quite enjoy the formulaic rhyme scheme that you have implemented here.
Yep, that took a wee bit of a dark turn....I like it. Your flows very impressive, as well as the way you wrote this piece. What I mean by that is that the way the piece swiftly, subtly, but naturally transitions from a charming piece to a darker one is very skillful. I can't really find anything to critique in this piece. It's concise, doesn't overstay it's welcome in the slightest, and overall, very well written. Nicely done :)
BRILLIANTLY WRITTEN, I LIKED THE THOUGHT OF BEING TOGETHER THROUGH THE STITCHES OF THREADS, AND SHARE A RELATIONSHIP FOREVER, LIFE IS JUST THESE BEAUTIFUL MOMENTS ISN'T IT... KEEP WRITING N READING..IT'S A BEAUTIFUL SPACE :) BTW YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL :)
A wonderful poem. To sew life and clothing. A skill of beauty and wonder. The poem, I liked the places and thoughts shared in the words. Thank you Yari for sharing the amazing poetry.
