A competent, if honestly rather weak poem. You seem to place rhyming above natural poetic structure, a trait which can be rather jarring during reading. I suppose that one of the things preventing me from really enjoying the poem is my detachment from the subject matter. While I appreciate how cute this puppy is, and you do a good job of convincing the reader that this dog is, in fact, friggin' adorable, I guess I just find it hard to relate to all that much. I will, however, and much to my chagrin, admit that even a hardened cynic (*Note From the Subconscious- Don't listen to him. He's just being melodramatic. He does that. He's a lot less cynical than he likes to put on) like me chuckled at your incredibly lame yet paradoxically awesome eponymous pun.
All in all, not bad. Just not my glass of Chianti.
Good luck in your future poetic and prosaic endeavors, and for now, I bid thee adieu- CT

LoL Thanks so much for the thorough, honest review! I must admit the ones that say "picture prompts".. read moreLoL Thanks so much for the thorough, honest review! I must admit the ones that say "picture prompts" are not going to be my best work because they are quickly written. They're just prompts I use to get my creativity going and get in a writing mood. Thanks again ^_^

ahahah, so cute ! Interesting creating a poem basing on one sense only (sight) and even of artificial nature - hope that wasn't an oxymoron xD - (You didn't see the dog, you've seen A PHOTO of the dog)
This is cute and it's also pretty creepy. I'm surprised no one has said creepy yet. The meter could use some fine tuning in certain lines, but overall it's a solid prompt write.
