The spoiled society

We are always dissatisfied with the food that we have got to eat.

We always want the Creme de la Creme.

We just throw away the leftovers that we dont want to eat anymore.

We just take care of ourselfs and dont mind the poor people.

There are so many people all over the world which are in poverty and need help. 

We just have to restrict our consumption of useless and uneaten gorceries.

The people are dying due to starvation.

That population would give anything to get those leftovers of the notorious bin

Hunger is not always limited to poverty. It can be an economic, social, societal, or even a religious issue. It can be permanent or temporary, seasonal, or even a self-pride driven happening. But the most innocent victim is a child - they seldom have any real choice whatsoever in the availability of food, clothing, or shelter. Of course poverty is not the only reason for problems BUT it IS a real and prevalent issue.

Poverty is not limited to other countries nor even geographical areas. Children DO go to sleep (and I did NOT say go to bed) hungry in every country of the world. What individuals can do is to find the first step in having a true social conscience.

I agree with the poem. Germany isn't as bad as the USA. We use half the energy used in the world and waste enough food to feed the world. Blind countries will spend billions on war and be blinded to the sick, homeless and the hungry people. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry. Had purpose and reason.
