Pigs

Pigs

A Poem by Thomas Yarbrough

They  held  her  legs

Up      in   a      V

drumming          the

lashed      headboard

against  shatterproof

sheetrock     cussing

spitlets of pig  s**t

yellowing         the

sheets           eyes

mooned             in

unthinking      blots

short      pig   like

snorts   pig  tongues

and    pig feet sours

lemon    grins   with

cocaine    adrenaline

rubbered  across  her

torso           c***s

grotesquely   pulsing

the    spring     box
