this is a clever poem. it also seems like a list of words for someone to make their own poem out of it...the sound of laughing children chilled the midnight crescent moon as they chased the monsters with gleaming machetes... your poem brings out the creativity and has awoken me from writer's block. thank you for sharing...don't worry, i won't really use it! : )
