SpeckleA Poem by YanZerosDaze 2/5Noon eve of 21' Contemplating What would it be like? In the next few days to come Figuring out, trying to be true To oneself, late blooms, old blood Little late, to another 30 years To live. Easily lost in thoughts, can't forget Of memories worth of years, Decades. Too early or maybe too late On accepting fate, Desperate Vitruvian Man Crossing over the secret unknown Getting closer to revelation Pits before the doorsteps Below is an infinite fall Pitch black, silent void Why am I here again? What were the lessons to learn? Will it be enough? Will accepting the facts be enough? Once I thought to be a complete world, Is just a fragment of a speckle? I wish life were so simple... © 2021 YanZerosAuthor's Note
