You're a symphony

Distract my reality

Played heartstrings in me

Silhouette figure

Desert lines of Sahara

Found wanting to touch

 

Plains of sunset rays

Leaving footprints of her scent

Horse riding princess

Young and beautiful 

Chasing goals and adventure

Away to be seen

Feet stuck in the mud

Waken from a distant dream

Of August the 1st

There are so many elements here that catch the eye. Definitely the romanticism and the adventure. I can picture the horses galloping through the desert. Searching and chasing for love. The excitement of that one person who captures everything we have inside ourselves. It also feels like a dream. It has that dreamy aspect. It's fun to read poetry that brings you back for a second and third read to see the hidden clues. Nice work!

Your posted image is beautiful and your lines capture the ambience of the desert. You also introduced a princess and horses which added value to the scene. It was like an episode from Arabian Nights. Visually pleasing work.
