This prayer is quite complete, as far as covering everything that's troubling most people these days. You express these sentiments with a nice balance between asking God to help/fix, but stating your requests as if we humans need to stand up to the challenges, we need to learn & grow & be better about many things, not just relying on God to save us from ourselves. The language you use is very much the appropriate, expected language one often hears when people pray. And therein lies my problem with this. There's almost nothing new & remarkable. I know you're not trying to be new & remarkable here, you're just starting a prayer chain. But this is writers cafe & we are writers, first & foremost, so don't bore me with the typical prayer talk that one always hears. Show me something different. Convince me that it's worth my time to read this. I am your audience, first & foremost.
That being said, I happen to have a more conversational approach when I talk to God. To me, prayer isn't something I do with my hands clasped upon my chest, speaking in religiosity terms like this. To me, prayer is my ongoing conversation with God as I go about my day, noticing his little gifts & thanking him for helping me recognize something I need to consider or address. He's my friend, first & foremost, in life. He knows how I am, so why should I hide behind fancy prayer talk? If I swear to God, he knows this is the real me. Do you talk to your friend like this, like in this poem? Why not talk to God the way you talk to your friends? Why not get real with God? I think you both might like it! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

I usually pray till I fall asleep like confession to God and Jesus Christ, and this is one of those prayers. I tried writing prayers with poetic touch since the month of June but I can't complete it. So I end up with this simple prayer like breathing air. My eldest sister is much more prayerful than me she's speaking in tongues or Glossolalia. She's also a poet and she only publish her works on Instagram. 😊❤️🙏
Thank you Margie, God Bless!
