A Poem by YanZeros
"

Old House (1/5)

"

In a four cornered room

Tropical sunlight cast its beams

Divided by the glass pane of jalousies

Carrying the visible dust particles

Floating till light touches the wooden floor

As the sun moves at its peak

As the temperatures rises

As the breeze getting warmer

The rays has gone closer and closer

To the edge of the window sill

Amazed by the dust dancing riding flowing in the air

Spotlighted by the sunbeam

Has vanished...

Are you still there my tiny enthusiastic entertainers?

That need to be known, to leave a mark on the world is too strong.. We often enough want to be remembered, if not by the whole world then by the few that we really value and want 'them' to remember us... I liked reading this! Kinda made me sad still good work! ☺

This is different and creates some wonderful underlying messages. Sometimes it's not until the "light" leaves that we realize what we're missing. You pen great imagery here as well as show that magic really can be discovered anywhere. Thank you for sharing YanZeros!

Beautifully detailed imagery. Sometimes we need light for things to come into focus. I enjoyed this. Starz

Thank you Starzy :) i'm glad you enjoyed it too!
I can relate this to small things in our lives that we cannot almost see. But there will be time that we will see them through the light/spotlight coming from somewhere.
A smart piece. Good job!

Thank you for dropping by and writing your thoughts Dhaye! :) Your words are True!
Had to look up "jalousies"...and now I know....

Sometimes we can not appreciate
the momentary little Joys in life..
Light brings focus to the magic within
our world, and as quickly
vanishes..

Gifts.. and wonders to behold !
Nice !!..........................Jazzy

You're most welcome :)
We have all been enthralled by the rays of light and the millions of dust particles that can be seen.
Here the message can clearly be taken as that with time the spotlight will vanish. Fame will not last forever and even those in the spotlight will one day be subdued by a life of darkness
