Centaur

Centaur

A Poem by Yakovlevova

I am now.
Standing here; looking at you.
I am not afraid.
Fools died to have you.
To taste your tears,
The first time, the last time.

But that's past us now.
Brutal, agonizing pain is mine to savior.
I am now.
I am not afraid.
I taste you, one last time.
And I fall.
The last fool to have you.

I would like to tell my stories to you, and only you. I love my family, food, the desert, sleeping under the galactic center, Key West, and kayaking. Everything else is inconsequential. .. more..
