Room EnoughA Poem by Paul PruettI love being inspired. And the muse is so fleeting. She comes any time she so feels the need. Even at 1:30 in the Morning.
There is room in my heart,
Room enough for you.
You are the final part.
Know this to be true.
A space is here, now in my world
This space that waits.
Longing for satisfaction.
Completed only by the wonder of you.
Long has this place been empty.
Crying out in the night for love.
There is room in my heart,
Room enough for you.
You are the final part.
Know this to be true.
Now you have come, I thank God.
This gift of your love can save me.
Ne’er to be taken away again.
My life can rest forever now.
Basking in the joy of your eyes.
Held by the velvet strength of your arms.
There is room in my heart,
Room enough for you.
You are the final part.
Know this to be true.
No more nights am I to be alone.
The days of wanton sadness are gone.
A smile fills my world comes from one place.
That place is you, my joy,
You are the angel sent down.
A long awaited, answered prayer.
There is room in my heart,
Room enough for you.
You are the final part.
Know this to be true.
