My Muse

My Muse

A Poem by Paul Pruett

She inspires with just a smile.
That diamond twinkle of joy she gives to me.
How I soar in the presence of her.
My heart leaps in my chest just at the thought.
Of her next to me.
Smiling at me.
Whispering my name.
Holding my hand.
She is forever on my mind.
Drifting in my dreams.
A haunting vision.
Out of reach of my clutching fingers.
Barely.
Just barley.
Oh, how she inspires.
I would me more then I am for her.
More then a man.
My strength growing in leaps and bounds for her.
Can this be true?
Is she all that I dream of?
Please say that this goddess is that.
And more.
O, so much more.

Very creative piece. The flow was a a bit off, and hard to read at times.
But it had a lot of honest emotion.
I enjoyed it ; )
