Gone

Gone

A Poem by Paul Pruett
"

Not going to say anything..

"

Drained.

Empty eyed.

Nothing remains.

You killed what was left.

My love is in a drought.

A dust bowl of my heart.

Nothing remains.

The horrid midday sun is merciless.

Evil as the hot desert wind comes

You killed what was left.

I am as a shell.

What it fun?
