NIGHT TIME FALL

NIGHT TIME FALL

A Poem by Yahya Oulad Aouid

Lying after a restless day

Storms of reveries sway me from my clay,

Hours passed in endless trivial thoughts

Haunting ponderings in which I am caught,

Clinging dearly to the agony of my soul

I pray the autumn wind scraps my fall,

A sillouhete seeps in into the shore

Cold breeze adorned with the scent I adore,

Images of her frail corps wrapped in my arms

Pupils piercing through my core with charms,

Grace is in her touch, and celestial calm

Meadows of sunflowers gracing my palm,

Torment is the fee of thy salvation, thee

For thy soul is anchored in night time fall.
