Your poem feels like a tumble of related ideas, all pertinent to end-of-life concerns maybe?. Taken together, your concerns are seemingly universal – wanting to be remembered & wanting to hold on to those memories still remaining in our heads. These thoughts are loosely connected to Alzheimer’s becuz of your title, but I don’t think your poem reminds me very much of anyone with Alzheimer’s (but I still very much like what you’re expressing here). I’m not so sure I would make such a generalization. I’m not sentimental & I’m pretty sure I’ve already been forgotten by most of the people I spent time with in my life. I hope that most people get to the point of realizing none of us matter one bit. But your poem is an interesting look at the way some other people may see this! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie
