J'y suis, j'y reste

J'y suis, j'y reste

A Poem by Yahallo
"

I will remain in your heart or you will remain in mine?

"
I'm sitting somewhere in a café in Paris.
I send a fake smile to a man
that keeps looking at me.
Prisoning my sigh
as I envy the girls obviously happy in love.
Here I am, looking for a pair of your eyes
in a buzzing crowd although you're miles away from me.
The coffee is freezing my mouth,
I'm disgusted at myself,
for just thinking of you so often!
The Eiffel is dizzy,
the Mona Lisa is disappointed,
the locks are open,
the heart is broken.
I dream you. I breathe you.
I. . . need you.
But I go on. Can't make you love.
Like a boat on a hard stone I die every night -
forgotten, wounded, misplaced in your heart.
