jealousy

jealousy

A Poem by Yahallo

like red mixed with green
nails touching my bones
leaving scars in words

blood falling from bottom lip
unsteady warm breaths
run away from my wrath

i bite my tongue, my cheek
for i might shout for a week
instead i keep this dirt inside of me

drowning in the salt from my eyes
i know it's wrong to keep you
inside my cage, but i am lonely here
