An interesting and unique metaphor for this context. I like it. Here, I can see the "boomerang" as someone (something like a toy to the other person) manipulated by the thrower, knowing his/her actions, no matter how wicked, will still result in the boomerang returning... because that's what boomerangs do. I love the simplicity, brevity, and especially the creativity in this piece.

Yup, I was aiming for that idea of a never-changing person who nonchalantly 'throws' someone else away knowing well that they will come back. Definitely not true a love or friendship.
