Her 25

Her 25

A Poem by Yahallo
"

The word 'love' doesn't have the same meaning and value to everyone.

"
She was a woman on a mission
He was a man with no plans
She was a beauty with a loaded gun
And when he saw her
He couldn't run

She was a match waiting to start a fire
He was an iceberg and not so admired
She was great at saying lies
And he was amazed by
Her sunshine eyes

She was a pirate on an adventure
He was a 9-to-5 man in leather
She had a thousand masks
When she was mad, he didn't dare to ask
Why she feels so bad

She was his blood in veins
He was her shelter from hurricane
She comes when it's cold and scary
He always let her in, his rosemary
Just like a refugee

She was glad she met him
He wishes he could get over it
She was his greenhouse
He was her lighthouse
And so she left anyway
