Au Revoir

Au Revoir

A Poem by Yahallo
"

People can leave you before you leave them. Would you change anything?

"
When I told you the truth,
your pupils were as big as the universe.
When I cried in your arms,
I heard you laugh.
When you promised me you'd be here,
you started feeling dizzy.
When you told me you had changed,
your shirt smelt like alcohol.
When you told me you loved me,
you started throwing things.
When you apologized,
you cried all night.
When I wanted to leave you,
you had already left me first

for good.

There is a difference about being there and really being there for someone you can give give give and people will just take take take, what a simple but great poem
