What does it mean?

To be pretty

To be rich

What’s the point of these?

Flaunting your money

Or your beauty

Won’t make me like you more

After all I befriend people

That I want to know more

Popular

I wonder

What does it mean?

Truthfully I think

It’s just another word in our vocabulary

Just another word

No one knows the meaning of

Just another word everyone uses to make fun of others

Having a group of friends

That’s the whole point of fun

But when it’s made up of rankings

It pisses me off

Like a person

For whom they are

Not their status

Or their money

Because who knows they won’t be there for long

In the middle of most groups

There’s always Queen Bee

The one who gives orders

To all her little worker bees

Gossip

Bullying

They’re all part of the get go

Being popular

I wonder

Why the big deal

Even the queen bee

Have her insecurities

I wonder what would happen if her bees knew these

After all,

There may be some

Who know who she is

And then there are those

Who likes what she has

It’s only a matter of time

Before they move onto someone else

Then she’ll be alone

In a group she once called friends

Because being popular

Doesn’t mean

You’ll always stay that way

So I wonder

What does it mean?

Cause I’m sure

My definition isn’t the same as Queen Bee.

Popularity is so overrated, and liking people for what they have and not who they are is only going to hurt the person who's doing it in the end. Hats off! :)

This one as just as good as the other. Great meaning and flow of emotions!

In "have her insecurities" change it to "has".

"Who likes what she has." take off the s on "likes"
