Who I am

Who I am

A Poem by Blossom
"

based on the short story called Fighting... about racism

"

The color of my skin

Does it really matter?

After all, haven’t been we taught

To never judge a book by its cover

You taunt me

You mock me

You think I won’t do anything

But does it really matter

Because in the end you don’t know me

But still hate me

So I’ve decided to take a step

Stand up

And change who I am

Because if I’m like you

Maybe the hurting will stop

So I yell back the words

That haunts me even now

But I who I am

Nothing can change that

The ending change it to > "But I am who I am"

Other than that, awesome! Hey r u being treated differently there? This poem just made me wonder....

Okay that second to last verse sounds confused but other that it was great, I could even compare myself in such a way.
