Little Daisy

Little Daisy

A Poem by Blossom
"

Why kill me, if you know the answer

"

Don’t worry little daisy

I promise to kill you not

I know little daisy

What it’s like to be picked apart

Each little petal

Used for something so trivial

You’d think I’d know

If he loved me

Or loved me not

Sweet little daisy

I’m tempted to try

To rip apart these golden petals

But I know I’ll just cry

Because what’s the use

I know in my heart

The answer to these feelings

He loves me not

So little daisy

Today, I’ll kill you not

The way you wrote this so each stanza flowed right into the next one was beautiful! One of the best love poems ever!

Awe that was really good, I'm not sure how to explain but that was a very unique way of writing how you portayed the girl and the daisy.

Loved it. Short and sweet.

At first I thought Daisy was the name of a girl, but it's actually about a flower. I really enjoyed this, simple and beautiful. It's so true, we always know the answer but we pick the daisy's petals anyways in hopes of getting the answer we want.

So sweet, I enjoyed this.

I like this poem. The flower rarely tells the truth. I like the internal conversation. A very good ending to the poem. A outstanding poem. We never know the answer till the time and moment we must decide the words and journey.

This is really sweet, and sad at the same time. Great job.
