Falling Between

Falling Between

A Chapter by Blossom
"

Never forget anything... because at one time it was exactly what you wanted

"

He had gotten bored of me

I was no longer any use to

He wanted me to leave his

But not return to the world below me…

I was tainted

I was no longer what I was supposed to be,

I was the monster

I was the animal,

But it was my world just as much as his…

I was drowning,

Trying to breathe in the very thing that was killing me

The wings that used to be so white and pure

Were now bathed in the shadow of the night

Standing in front of him,

Facing him

Made my stomach tingle

Just like we had first met…

He was so close, yet so far away from my reach…

He looked at me with that same look I had seen everyday

That look I had seen in dreams

He was trying to read me

Yet he couldn't.

It frustrated him,

It worked on everyone else in this hell I chose

But the world below was very much the same

I had the privacy that everyone killed for

Something so useless…

"Will you kill me today?"

I wanted to die

I wanted him to put me out of my misery

The nightmares

The whispers were always around me

He turned his ringed eyes to

To the dull jade eyes

That used to shine in the sun

"No today"

And with that I was thrown in between

Heaven was below

Hell was above

I was just drifting in between
