Here's wishing you a day to remember...or at least a day you can't forget

Life hated me, it always had

From the moment I was born, I knew no one loved me

So why did he pretend he hid?

I often watched the people below me

They all seemed so happy and carefree

I could end my life, just like I ended the ones below me

But it was a command I had to receive

I acted on his every order,

Every thought,

Every whisper

I was just a puppet in his play…

He would often ask me what I was doing, and I always answered.

My mouth would always answer, because I had no control of anything

My answer would always anger him, and he would walk away

He would never hurt me

I always hurt myself

The breeze shifted becoming cooler,

I laughed a bubbling laugh, something so carefree like those below me.

This was when I was myself,

Something that still existed through all the blood, pain and tears.

But I knew that even this wouldn't last.

That drop of happiness in the darkest of hours would just be consumed,

Because here the sun doesn't shine forever only the moon does
