City of AshesA Poem by BlossomCame to me after I finished reading a book
As the city burns
the ashes rise, the wings of the holy angel are covered in grime the demons roam about thier sins atoned Who in God's name forgave them? of the laws they broke the angel so pure fight' for its home demons have over run what was once he called home the fire it crackles laughing at the tears the city that once glowed now reduced to bones is nothing but ashes in this place we call home © 2010 BlossomAuthor's Note
