captured shadow

some friendships are stronger than others.

"Many people come and go
- others just drift away and you're left
with nothing but the cold-hearted truth.
Once it hits you deeply within
your sensitive soul.
Life begins to change your whole
mindset.
You begin to think that maybe you were
just a phase. Somehow, it seemed as if
they were better off without you..
- Some come back magically, it's almost
as though you were in a deep, endless
nightmare full of sorrow and miserable
life events, as if the world slipped right
through your little fingers tips
and created you to except
the things that happen;
with or without reason.
- then suddenly, that one person you've once
had a hold on such a long time has
finally reached out of that devilish darkness,
Pulled your sleeve and unbelievably
got a hold of your entire shadow and
brought you into a new world
of light you've once known;
- the powerful sunlight of
friendship.
It's the true bittersweet feeling
of knowing they've never really left..
That's more than a friendship......

It's the wake-up call of a true homie
that never left after all.

I am a big fan of honesty like this, it is raw and deeply felt, gives greater thought to the everyday lives of us all and how people weave in and out of it. It looks like you learn from the various situations in life and will only grow more and more. You will definitely be a force as a writer. One thing, I think you meant Accept, when you wrote, except.
