Catching the Sun

If I catch the sun

Perhaps it will grant me happiness

Or maybe I will catch my tomorrow

But the sun seems so far away

No matter how far I run or chase it

It will escape from my grasp

 

If i catch just a little bit of sunshine

Perhaps a rainbow will appear after the deep, dark rain

Or maybe i will get a clearer tomorrow than the tomorrow I looked foward to yesterday

But it always escapes me

No matter how fast I run I run

 

Maybe I am not meant to catch the sun

Maybe happiness doesnt like me

Or maybe sunshine and a rainbow does not heave me

But i am pregnant with starvating and desire for just a little of the sun.
