Nature's Rhythm

A poem I created whilst playing with meter and structure.

For every yes-

There is a no;

Will you stay

Or will you go;

Will it rain

Or will it snow;

There is a no-

For every yes;

For every yes-

There is a no;

If you stay

You don’t go;

When it rains

It doesn’t snow;

There is a no-

For every yes;

There is a no-

For every yes;

When you yes

You will know;

If you know

You will yes;

For every yes-

There is a no;

Yes you no

And

No you yes,

For every yes-

There is a no,

Maybe.

Gradual change in structure per stanza is intentional to convey theme.
