There's always a reason

As to why we lie

What's your reason?

Why do you try?

 

There's always a reason

For the things that we do

Your reasons confuse me

But mine I always knew

To continue to live

You never told me yours

Is this something you can't give?

 

There's always a reason

To keep on breathing

I've known you so long

But you've always been decieving

 

There's always a reason

To let your tears fall

Sometimes it's hard

You can't handle it all

To hold on to life

But I lost my reason

With the blade of this knife

To me that was my favorite stanza, because we all lie. Whether they are big lies or small lies, we all have to lie at some point in time. Just some people more than others. The ending was sad and a little unexpected, but that's probably what you meant to do. Great write!

But I have never driven myself to want to cut myself.
I like your write all the words stand out I really don't
connect that much with the last stanza.
