Broading Horizons

Broading Horizons

A Poem by Emm'here

Our lives
begin to end
the day
we become truly
silent
about what matters most.
They end.
Our souls
left to mourn
in a demeaning,
endless,
empty gray room,
which holds us to the walls
and forces us to
admit our sins
and regrets.
They want us
to rot
in Hell,
that one place
where people can discriminate from
the Good well-being
and the Bad.
Hopeless citizens
of what once was
roam the streets in the mist,
forever alone.
