Withered WallA Poem by Adora.xoThe Pic is one I took personally soooo yeah!Oh the memories Carried upon this wall, Of the men who built it, And stood it up tall. Memories of, The people who walked past, Or stopped for a moment, To lean on it perhaps. Memories of the sunshine, On many a long hot day, Warming its blue coats, Till it faded to grey. Reminders of Rain that seemed never to subside, And softened its wooden panels as, Each drop sank deep inside. Reminders of the windy nights, That blew dust into its face, And pieces of the earth that held on, To the withered panels with such faith. Many a story dwells, Upon this aged wall, Of a world that once, Wasn’t afraid to fall.
