Strolling into Tomorrow

Strolling into Tomorrow

A Poem by Adora.xo
"

Bleh

"

The rough planes of yesterday,

Seem so soft now,

Surrounded by indecision,

I still feel at peace somehow.

Into a blissful abyss,

I guide my thoughts,

So far away from the sharpness of today,

They become lost.

I eat the breeze,

And drink in the warm,

Rays of forever’s sunlight

And dance with the storm.

Alas the roughness of today,

Will seem so soft tomorrow,

And I know I will feel at peace,

As my thoughts leave behind sorrow.

Hard to learn to forget the past and move on. I like the story and the wisdom in your words. A strong ending to a outstanding poem.

Very nice, I like the search for a relief, for something deeper. I also think each verse had a strong word, pulling us through. Well done.

I liked the pacing of this piece. You definitely had some nicely executed imagery that kept the reader reading. Nice work!
