When I See You

When I See You

A Poem by Adora.xo

Love, when I see you

Every cliché seems to come true.

And when I feel your fingers laced with mine,

Everything freezes right there in time.

Dearest, when I hear your voice,

My heart seems to have no choice.

And when your sweet scent touches me,

I know a dream this cannot be...

Because every cliché seems to come true,

Sweetheart when I'm with you.

I personally think the poem would end better with the same lines it started with. Just feel that "Baby" sort of ruined it for me, then again that word is pretty much used these days as a cliché so in terms of the technique it fits in with the poem to that degree.

Other than that I've got to say it's tops! :)

very sweet and as matthew said , cute, but I like it. It captures that heady skip and run feeling of the first stage of love
