Warm WinterA Poem by Adora.xoThis poem was inspired by the snow outside and the song Make You Feel My Love by AdeleBeneath the snow flakes, Under white skies, I will warm your winter, And hush your good-byes. Because darling when I saw you, My heart skipped a beat, My breath caught in my throat, And the cold thawed to a heat. And when I heard my name, On those lips I wish to savour, Dearest my heart knew, I had fallen much sooner than later. Because no feeling can over-ride, This passion I feel, This sureness I possess, I know this love is real. So here beneath the snow flakes, Under these listless white skies, I will always be to warm your winter, And to listen to your heart-beats and sighs.
