Steel Meth Heart

Steel Meth Heart

A Poem by XxWhatsername86

She wears a clownish smile
On her face and
No one sees the lies.
Opening up to not one person-
Her past and her thoughts she hides.
She acts fine and no one sees
The scars that tattoo herself.
Pretending to be happy, carefree,
And sweet, no one knows she wants help.
But she doesn't need it, she says alone,
She doesn't want it! she screams.
So she'll act fine and perfectly okay.
Nothing more than sunny it seems.
Terrified to be herself,
Scares straight out of her mind.
Hiding inside all the feelings she felt,
You would scream if you'd look inside.

I really like this poem. The way the words flowed made an easy mental image :)

This seems like it could be written into a song, I really like it.

This was great! I hate that some people try hiding everything from others. I honestly think that they will end up having a major breakdown eventually letting it all out. I loved how nice the flow of this was! Great job and Keep up the good work!
