In The End

In The End

A Poem by XxWhatsername86

It's never enough,
It really never is,
This ocean is overflowing,
With crystalline tears,
And blood that spills from our wounds.

I don't want to single you out,
Your not my target,
My own heart is,
I can't fight and win against that.

Your confidante,
And that put you at risk,
For a bloody and cruel end,
Because I wish I wasn't here,
I wish I wasn't alive,
I wish I could stop fighting.

It's a struggle,
That I'm tired of writing about,
A fight I'm tired of confronting,
Your a conquest that once again,
Beat me down.

It's an awful way to be,
But your a lie,
I'm a lie,
And this poem's losing it's life,
And so am I.

My wrists aren't bleeding.

My neck isn't breaking.

I'm not on a cliff edge.

But my life is slipping,

As my fingers type these final words.

This is my last poem.

The finale show.

The final season.

I'm taking a break.

I might be back by March.

Who knows?

I'm just what the title says.

My heart is broken,
My life is cold,
My family is burning,
And happiness is far too bold.

I'll end it here.
It's gone too long.

Goodbye my friends!

I'll be back before I'm old.
