Let The Tears Fall

I let the tears fall where they may,
Nobody will care anyway.
They tore me down with words, not a fight,
They cause me to cry myself to sleep at night.
I wish they'd actually care,
Do they even see me crying there?
In the dark, all alone,
I am forced to cry and moan.
Maybe one day they'll actually see
All the things they've done to me.
But their tears will fall too late to save,
When I'm still and cold within the grave

I love the rhyming in the poem. Very well written. It makes the reading feel the great emotion inside the poem that the speaker feels.

A good poet draws on their own experiences to produce their work, and I'm sensing that you did that here; it's genuineness gives it a lot of power. This poem is really straightforward and doesn't make much use of imagery, and I sort of wish it would have, but describing things gets to be difficult when you're writing a structured and rhyming poem, like this one. My favorite lines in this piece are the final two--they're really harrowing because they imply that death will occur soon, and I like the way that they're written. Oh, and this is just a little thing but you misspelled 'to' in the next to last line =p but yeah all in all I really like this poem, and writing things like this is a great way to express yourself cuz it helps you vent too. Nice job.
