A BLACK ROSE

A BLACK ROSE

A Poem by XxVampyrCandyXx

Enough of this poetry

Enough of the prose

Enough of the ryhmes that dance in neat rows

I give to you now

an exquisite black rose

Watered with love

and the words I compose

Plant it in heart

and watch as it grows

It grows on the graves

of the divine and the brave

It grows on the poison

of men not saved

it grows in the hearts

where past flowers tried

it grows where youve planted

your little white lies

From this stage of your heart

I make My debut

An audience will come

Since Black Roses are Few

For this flower represents

A love that is True

very romantic poem and it gave me an idea that a black rose doesnot always mean saddness and goodbyes
