BurdensA Poem by Sarah Sunfinished...
If only I could capture you
And the spaces here between us too In halls and walls that hide the stars We linger on, distorted shards With broken wings we learned to fly And chase the dreams that slowly die We tasted the bitterest fruits of life, Rejection and loneliness, sorrow and strife In the shadows of a darkened room We whistle to our nameless tune
