Sins of Men, unfinished

Sins of Men, unfinished

A Poem by Sarah S
"

I'm still working on it, but wanted to post the beginning.

"

Humans prey on the blood of the innocent

Feeding off the shadows of our own mortality

The insatiable beast inside, spawned from false truths,

Hides behind a veil of pretense

Lying under the guise of concern and care,

A thousand burning questions.

A hunger for knowledge, even at the cost of a life.
