"The Black Deceiver"A Poem by Sarah Ahmed
The devil had to deceive Adam and Eve
And make us be tested on earth till we leave But we can all grieve for what we perceive And why we conceive and give birth to achieve It goes back to the start when it all had began He refused to bow down to God's first man Now what's his plan? To return again? And ban that he can of the pious clan? He'll murder the road down heaven's abode He'll take what is owed with no mercy bestowed Upon his true name and he'll die in his shame For men are to blame in a blazing flame Like a wretched child, his hate runs wild His ways are designed to be wickedly styled A mass tribulation for one commendation He'll kill his prostration and sell his salvation His worthiness lies to be above clay Fire over dirt will rule any day But look at you now, boasting in fire You'll burn in yourself with among every liar They rank you much higher and let you inspire It's you they desire and you they acquire It's you they admire and you they inquire When falling in hell, is it you they'll require? The trials you bring and you're crowned then a king? Damned are the ones who will clench you and cling To your life of raising humility's wing When God gave you power to have everything Can you ever hate me as much as I hate you? When the good in my heart is from what you will do The hell with it satan, I guess I'll stay true Just to spite you and your dead army too (You're always surrounded by the black deceiver, he'll try to cease every last faithful believer.....but not me.) © 2013 Sarah AhmedReviews
