True Love

One of those random tugs to write... It doesn't rhyme and doesn't have any rhythm, just from the heart! Enjoy!

The lush hills lavished me with garments

The sun wrapped me with purple flowing robes

The clouds hemmed with golden lining

The stars were formed and they crowned me with flaming jewels

The ones I formed to my image by dirt and rib 

I loved most.

To these I gave my garments, my robe, my crown

To me, these gave me tears, hatred, pain

Were the world around them not enough

They thrashed out and cursed my name

I gave them my wisdom

They scorned it

I gave them my soul

Out I poured it

They disowned it

I gave them my body

They broke it

There I lay scorned, disowned, broken

Death pounced on me

The world sunk their teeth into my side.

My love spilled out in response

The world drenched me into their filth

It filled into my skin and pores

I was wrenched from my Father

Father watched in pain as my True Love flooded from my eyes

Abandoned and despised, I waited for Father's call on the third dawning

The pain of the earth writhed, tore, punched, stabbed into the pit of my heart

I awaited the call of Father.

The cries of present and future burned in my eyes, constricted within my throat

I awaited upon Father.

An awakening as fresh as the dew sprayed on me...

A call, "My Son, My Son, I am well pleased," 

Awakened me

A sway of dancing hills wrapped about me

A sweep of sunrise filtered upon my shoulders

A sprinkle of stars were crowned upon my head

In awe, my despisers bowed lower than the shame within their souls

In love, I stretched out my hand.

As one we walked in love and hope together.
