What once was

What once was

A Poem by Elizabeth Kerns

I hate how much I used to love you.
I hate how much I trusted you.
I hate how much it still hurts to see you.
I can smile and act like its fine, but inside all I can think about is what once was.

A bit short, but it's still really deep and intense and I can definitely relate to this. In my opinion, love is one of the best and worst things one can feel. This is a very sad poem, but it's good and well written. Kudos

About
I love reading and writing. I'm almost always reading a new book. I love romance but there has to be some kind of suspense. Anyways, I haven't written anything on here in a while but I'm planning on .. more..
