Rain

Rain

A Poem by Sharon
"

Sometimes, rain may not be so bad.

"

Many say rain symbolizes sadness,

It symbolizes the end.

It becomes the defeat,

Of something you could not defend.

The sky is crying,

Ice cold tears.

You take in a breath,

Your conscience fills with fears.

Our eyes are glassy,

No longer bright, and filled with excitement.

You wander with nothing,

At least nothing decent.

But open your eyes,

See it from my point of view.

The rain signals a beginning,

A new start, how refreshing.

Feel the weight being lifted,

Off your tired shoulders.

Hold your held up high,

Have your heart lit a fire.

Be someone with grace and dignity,

Someone who would never be down.

Someone who sees rain, for its true meaning,

Don’t feel jump into the water, and drown.

Very neat. Rain is often the means of a new beginning. I revives us after a drought; it provides life. A very unique perspective. Very nice. :)
