To whom do you ascribe your augmentation?A Poem by Sibusiso Xtdo GamaWhen the vintage
trees wilt ahead And the native pillar walls
keep tumbling down, The silence is so loud and
clouding while tracing the mystery books of history, And the future gales on hands of old
vanilla grey hairs, Who proclaim they see more with their
eyes closed.
To whom do you ascribe your
augmentation? Do you ennoble the spiritual or the
ogre man and ogle the enigma of nature, Possessed by the lust triggered by the
steatopygia of dolls That almost all trypophilic men fall
victim to?
Do you exalt the suit man with a
diction acquainting smile? With an ever shining oxford
assistive cane, From which we learnt to walk the path between black and white ink stained pages.. From which we learnt, to slate and translate? Or humour the influence by pals
and rumour the naked media?
Do we ascribe it to our Folks
with whom we spend only so much time? Because we are like trees, our
parents are the soil and they access only our roots, All our stems, buds and leaves are
exposed to the environment we live in..
It is facile to distort a summer’s
rod, but at times thorns impede the possibilities. Riddle me that! To whom do you ascribe your
augmentation? © 2014 Sibusiso Xtdo GamaReviews
