I am a poet <3

i am a poet.

its a simple title

and these words i type

there all riddles.

i am gifted

 and poetry is my passion

some may look at it and see words

but when i see it, i see it as a new fasion.

its a way to speak your mind,

and never be judged.

its a way to release everything

and still be loved.

its a way to run from your fears

and then overcome it.

its mood changer

from happy to sad.

you can feel pain,

but also be glad.

its something diffrent

ike never before

and i can type words

like, "nevermore".

we all have our favorites

in things that we do

but i am a poet

so what are you?

poetry has been around for years, and i am happy to be a poet, its an amazing gift to be abe to tell a story in such an amazing way that so many people can relate too. I hope you enjoyed this piece, and if your a poet, then yuppadi-do...ENJOY<3

I am one too. And I like the way you sum up our obsession, fate, luck, curse. Poetry is indeed all you say. My own feeling is that we receive poems, if we are lucky that they are out there and we are merely the conduits through which they find their way into our consciousness. If we are lucky!

Very nice description of how poets relate to words or worded phrases...the differences with people who can't "get the flow" or have that "umm..what?" expression I find much to often..My fav is "WOW!!!" Short and to the point...lol
