how such a thing can stump a entire population.

I think it gets stretched so thin over time that you can barely recognize it at all. It gets distorted and tangled with other emotions it becomes a stranger to even those who originally felt so strong... :) You pose a very interesting question...really though I think that love does change and adapt...it's only that the one it originated from needs to realize that and accept those changes for what they are...not fight to find "the love" again. It was different just a second ago from this second right now..to this second... Very thought proposing write. Thank you for the RR :)
