you simply deserve one simple gift,

to let the world go your way for once,

to feel what its like to be right,

and to feel nothing of being wrong.

You have had so many troubles 

and the world is harsh on some,

but at least you have loved ones,

when some people have none,

darling, you are my best friend,

and sometimes god takes peoples lifes,

but think of it this way,

if he goes, and leaves on this simple night,

he will feel no pain and suffer from only the light.

your grandfather has lived his life,

hes staying strong for you.

if you give up on him,

he'll surely give up too.

so do us all a favor,

be brave for one more year,

i promise once things get to the worst,

they will get better more, 

so dont have fear.

i know everyone is leaving, 

and family is seporating,

but everythings going to be okay,

life is gonna work out to be simply amazing.

the other day you almost gave up,

and i was scared i'd wake up alone,

with out a best friend, 

whom i'd call my own.

i know im sounding selfish ,

but darling please dont go,

because sometimes all i need,

is for you to push me so.

so maybe if i push you,

and get through these harsh times,

you may see that life will work out,

and it'll all end up just fine.

But every night i go to sleep,

to awaken with fear that you wont be there,

you are my sister,

you are full of life.

sometimes all you need to move on,

is a little light,

so block out all the bad, 

and look at all the good,

pray for answers,

and maybe in return,

everything will work out 

and the pain will be a blur.

so hold on just a little longer,

i know that you are brave,

but be strong, take the pain,

because someday,

this will all be silly dream.

this is for my best friend, who is going through some hard times in life. People are growing ill and family is falling apart at times, i know some of you will be able to relate, so please comment your thoughts and feelings about this piece. EnJoY! and thank you!<3

So sad the things we must face in our daily lives that can break a heart so easily. Time heals all wounds, but for some it could take quite a long time...for most they just simply give up. We have to be strong in order to survive. A lovely and inspirational tribute to your friend. Nicely done.

Excellent write and enjoyable read! Was very interesting at the start, got deeper in the middle and became words of wisdom at the end.
